Kayak Ontario is located East of Hamilton on the Niagara Escarpment. From here, we are only a few hours away from each of the Great Lakes. When you sign up with us, you will get access to our webinars, social paddles and community groups.

If you are unsure where to start, we encourage you to come to one of our social paddles, to test the waters. When you are ready, you can jump into the courses. The level 1 course is tailored to a new kayaker looking to learn the basics of sea kayaking in Level 1 conditions. We offer the program in locations across Southern Ontario, every weekend.

When you are ready to try some more challenging conditions, you are ready for the level 2 course. We offer the course in a few ways for your convenience.

Base Camping: Best suited to those don't want to go in the back country. We camp in a beautiful park and pick a new spot each day to explore, learn new skills and navigate with marine charts.
Instructional Touring: Best suited to people who are confident in their skills. We do an expedition style instructional tour. The course is a 4-5 day consecutive trip. We will base camp in a beautiful and special location, while going over the program.

Our trips are outfitted by our expedition partners: Aquabound, Level 6, NDK and MSR.
