Paddling Association Members

The Paddling Association Membership is an organizational category membership, available to non-profit paddling clubs or paddling associations in Canada.

One of the main goals of the membership is to create more links and opportunities in the Canadian paddling community, plus meet an increasing demand to join Paddle Canada in provinces/territories where there is no Regional / Provincial Paddling Association and receive many marketing and insurance benefits.

Extremely good value for liability and equipment insurance. There is terrific support in programming and curriculum ideas with the confidence that club activities are conducted to a high standard of safety. We are happy to be a part of a wider paddling community that supports each other as we continue to develop opportunities for the public to participate and continue to learn on the water skills in a safe and positive environment.

We are an environmental group working along the Rideau River, the Rideau Canal Waterway, and in the Rideau Watershed. Our projects involve wildlife, habitat, environmental stewardship, environmental awareness, biodiversity, water quality, shorelines, Eco-tourism, interpretation, paddling, outdoor adventure, natural heritage, and cultural heritage.

Our main project this year is Rideau Experience, a voyageur canoe outings program which includes Treasures on the Rideau, a combination of canoe outing and dining experience.

Our canoe tours can be used for custom tours, team building exercises, conference tours, festivals, picnics, reunions, youth groups, and camps. We also provide canoe rental and long-distance guided tours of the Rideau.
