Leduc Boat Club, through rentals and club membership, allows boaters to enjoy Telford Lake in several of the Paddle Canada sports of kayak, SUP, and canoe. LBC also supports the sports of outrigger canoe, rowing, and dragon boat.

Telford Lake has a sheltered position (perfect for learning kayak, SUP, canoe and rowing), is narrow and 3 km long. The main boating area is well defined and considered as a Waterfront facility. This is ideal for basic canoeing and SUP courses. Instruction during inclement weather takes place in our paddling tank and board room. Telford Lake Multiway is accessible with 8 km of wide trails. The whole LBC area is fully accessible with ramps and handrails. Two large washrooms within the boathouse are wheelchair accessible. LBC has some ability to accommodate different needs on the water ranging from visual impairment to mobility issues.

LBC has hosted many boating events ranging from open houses, festivals, to small and large inter-provincial race/regattas. In the summer months LBC is popular during the day for summer day camps where youth are introduced to a number of boating sports. Different groups also make extensive use of the facility as it can easily host a small office or an entire school. There is a lot happening in Leduc from May to September come check us out for your boat training needs and more. From beginners just getting their feet wet to athletes training for world events there is a spot in a boat for everyone at LBC!
