The PCC is a busy group of dedicated volunteers, whose goal is to provide industry-leading programs, policies and systems, consistent across all of Paddle Canada’s disciplines.
During the 2017/18 winter season, the PCC plans to undertake the following work:
- Complete the Paddle Canada Camping program that is vessel-independant. Release is scheduled for spring.
- As part of our 3-year project to develop a common Paddle Canada instructor trainer development program that recognizes training in other Paddle Canada disciplines, release a mechanism that allows transferring of ITs between disciplines.
- Working with the office and programmers, configure the members section of the website to track certification maintenance and expiry.
- Other work, as requested by the board of directors.
Any comments regarding our goals are welcome. You must include your name and Paddle Canada member number when you email your comments to the committee. Thanks.
