Job Summary
Guiding sea kayak excursions and/or guiding paddle boarding getaways
Eco-interpret the natural marine environment, in particular the colony of seals (common and gray) in Forillon National Park
Welcome participants, give safety instructions and ensure their needs are met
Maintain and repair equipment and site
As needed, other related tasks necessary for the proper functioning

Required Education, Skills or Certification
Be organized, smiling, comfortable in front of the public and in good physical shape
Know how to work in a team and evolve positively
Be motivated to give his best to satisfy customers
Speak French and English
Training in adventure tourism or relevant experience in outdoor group supervision is an asset
Having knowledge of the ecology of the marine environment is an asset
Hold the following certifications (equivalent or higher):
– first aid 16h and CPR (unexpired – recognized in Canada)
– sea kayaking: level 1 Paddle Canada. Possibility of training
– paddle board: Paddle Canada advanced calm waters.
If necessary, hold a valid work permit for Canada
Experience Required

Level 2 opportunity can be offered to qualified guides
