The English (not for use in Quebec) liability waivers for adults and minors are now available for download and use from your Instructor log-in. Paddle Canada will publish the French (for Quebec use) liability waivers for adults and minors next week.
Paddle Canada retained the law firm of Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP to draft the English waivers in the summer of 2013. The new Liability Waivers are designed to address the risks specific to paddling and paddling instruction. A set of guidelines for presenting and executing the Liability Waivers with your students will be published to the Instructor log-in in the coming weeks. We strongly encourage all Paddle Canada instructors to review and follow the suggestions and guidelines.
