Paddling Wall of Honour
Has furthered the safe use of canoes and kayaks by encouraging the adoption of safe paddling equipment and safety procedures, developing new safety guidelines and equipment and/or rescuing a person or persons in danger of death or injury as the result of a paddling accident,
Education and Instruction:
Has received recognition for outstanding teaching and/or development of recreational paddling programs which have contributed to safer, more enjoyable recreational paddling experiences.
Has made a positive contribution towards ensuring pollution-free, aesthetically pleasing paddling waterways, either through their own personal efforts or the coordination and encouragment of others.
Has researched and/or published material which will ensure an accurate record of the history of paddling and that demonstrates the significant importance of the canoe and/or kayak as part of our unique Canadian heritage.
Participated as a competitor in sprint, marathon or whitewater racing or has provided leadership to clubs and organizations on paddling trips or other activities such as symposiums and festivals.
Leadership and Organization:
Has, through personal example, encouraged others to become involved in and further the development of recreational paddling, and/or
Has furthered the development of a club, symposium, organization or agency through the effective application of administrative procedures and organizational techniques.

Has designed and/or constructed
Nominations can be forwarded to the national office by any Paddle Canada member for review and consideration by the Board of Directors.
