Aim
The River Kayak Skills Level 1 course is designed to introduce participants to the thrill of paddling whitewater. Emphasis is placed on understanding the principles of moving water and kayaking safety.

Upon Successful Completion
The Intermediate River Kayak Skills is certified to:

Prerequisites
River Kayak Skills Introduction to Kayaking
Basic First Aid Course is strongly recommended

Eight (8) hours

1 Instructor : 6 Participants

All manoeuvres are to be performed on Class 1-2 Moving Water.
