Contest runs from May 15, 2012 to October 31, 2012.
The contest, which is held in partnership between the CHRS program and Canoeroots & Family Camping magazine, is open until October 31, 2012. Winning photos will be published on-line and in Canoeroots magazine and will tour across Canada in the Reel Paddling Film Festival. The four categories are:
1. Canadian Heritage Rivers and Families
2. Canadian Heritage Rivers and Nature
3. Canadian Heritage Rivers and Cities
4. Canadian Heritage Rivers and Adventure
