news labrador churchill trip with paddle canada directors and instructor membersPaddle Canada members were "blown away" by the beauty of the Churchil River, in Labrador.  The river is on the list for more hyrdo development in the future.  There is already a dam built in 1969 neaer the top of the river.  PC President, Blair Doyle, Past President, Richard Alexander, past regional director NL, Corey Locke, current regional director NL, Jeff Martin, and instructor member Johnny Walsh, have now added their names to supporters of Grand River Keepers (the local organization advocating protection and preservation of the river and it's watershed).

This trip was one of the bigger expeditions done by these PC members. They managed to run all the rivers rapids except Muskrat Falls which they portaged.  The group filmed the trip and will be putting a video together to be ready for release this fall.  They hope to submit it to Paddle Canada's Waterwalker Film Festival 2013.
